Hey guys, what's the risks of Accutane. My mom's gonna get it for me, but heard some messed up stuff on what that can do to you. Is it safe to use? Anybody had any bad experiences?
I remember 8 or so years ago a friend of mine used Accutane. They were suffering horribly from acne and were going to extreme mesures to find a solution. However, they weren't happy with the results and eventually became dependent on it. It's one of those things where if you stop then you get worse than you you were before you started. So, as an outsider looking in I can say he was not happy with it.
Keep in mind that this is a question & answer forum, not discussion. If you want to extend this question you can post a new one.
Woh, thanks for the detailed response Graham. Ya, I was thinking the same about using creams over pills. what are some natural ways to avoid acne or cure it?
Accutane certainly has its risks. Most people only resort to this pill if they're severely suffering from acne. You should be aware of the risks involved. DO NOT use Accutane if you're pregnant. It has been known to cause birth defects. Also, don't use if any of these apply to you:
You should be aware that Accutane is very extreme. It's always best to stay away form pills and stick with topical creams.
