Is Dr. Richard Ellenbogen as good as they say he is?

I've heard so much about Dr. Richard Ellenbogen for revision rhinoplasty.

Apparently him, Dr. Kanodia, Dr. Paul Nassif, and Dr. Toriumi are the top doctors for nose jobs.  I live in Los Angeles and have heard a LOT about him doing a ton of celebrity nose jobs.  So, he must be good?  Anyways, has anyone actually consulted or gotten a nose job with him?  How was it?  Thanks!

Hi Becky.  As far as I know Dr. Richard Ellenbogen is a very experienced cosmetic surgeon with a good track record and big name clients.  How much of it is hype?  You have to realize that any super star in the plastic surgery field has undoubtedly bought some of that notoriety with ad campaigns and good publicity.  But, there reputation is also on line after every procedure.  They have more to lose and therefore don't want to screw up.  But, from the research I've done it seems like he's a very well qualified surgeon with over 30 years of experience in the field.  So, I wouldn't be worried that he doesn't know what he's doing.
